Collaborative Divorce
A Dignified Path to a New Beginning
Collaborative Divorce is a voluntary and private process designed to help families separate with dignity, respect, and mutual agreement, without the need for litigation. It offers a compassionate alternative to traditional court battles, placing the decision-making power directly in your hands.
What is Collaborative Divorce?
Collaborative Divorce involves both spouses and their respective certified Collaborative Attorneys, along with a Coach and Financial Neutral, working together as a team. The Spouses and the team are committed, by contract, to reaching a settlement outside of court. This shared commitment is the powerful incentive for success.

Why Collaborative Divorce?
| Benefit | Description |
| Control and Privacy | You and your spouse, not a judge, control the outcome. Discussions remain confidential and may not be used in Court. |
| Lower Conflict | The focus is on communication, interest based negotiation, and finding common ground, significantly reducing emotional and financial conflict. |
| Team Support | The process often includes a neutral financial professional and a mental health professional (known as the Coach) to provide expert guidance on emotional and financial issues. |
| Focus on Children | Solutions are crafted specifically around the unique needs of your children, prioritizing their well-being and helping parents co-parent effectively. |
| Customized Outcomes | Agreements are tailored, within the confines of the law, to the specific circumstances of your family, resulting in more creative and durable solutions than a court-imposed order. |
Collaborative Divorce is an excellent option for families who are committed to a respectful process and prioritizing a constructive, long-term relationship, especially where children are involved.
